Dear Alumni,

We are pleased to offer you a new round of meetings at the initiative of the "Creative Community" of IFM alumni.

At the initiative of Jayne Estève Curé (IFM Alumni 87), every first Tuesday of every month we open a "Creative Room" to address current topics from the angle of creation and design.

This Tuesday, May 4 at 6:30 pm in live talk digital  we will address the issue of paradigm change with 3 alumni points of view:

- Alice Rio-Derrey (IFM Master Création 2015) - Fashion Designer: WRTW & Prints. Upcycling specialist

- Mathias Jacquemet (IFM Master Création 2008) – Independent Artistic Director – The Strange

- Carlos Feltes (IFM Master Création 2019) - Leather Good Designer - Hermès

The year 2020 has changed our lives a little, a lot, completely .... What are our values, our hopes, our vision of the world before-today-and after the pandemic ? We talk a lot about the image of brands but would the image lead us to forget a little about the products in the real world, the real production of design? How do these questions may  impact the role of a designer today?

We live in a digital world where designers think and work to engage in the most direct conversations possible with the client. The desire to change is strong but what path is emerging, what steps can we imagine together to advance towards the changes we seem to be waiting for?

The objective of this group is plural:

- Gather all the creative profiles of the IFM Alumni whether they come from the ECSCP, IFM or any of the programs of the French Fashion Institute

- Support and promote our professional initiatives, creative and entrepreneurial projects

- Stimulate meetings and connections, potential collaborations, links beyond promotions, pathways and generations to bring dynamics and structure to all our exchanges

- Exchange on the issues we share on the news and developments of our sectors

-  Share and recommend positive and useful resources and information.


Our modus-operandi:

- Organize recurring or ad hoc events to gather on these missions

- Imagine formats and content to interact with each other and with the entire IFM ALUMNI community, particularly in connection with the major Clubs:

• International Club

• Club Career & Coaching

• Club Sustainability & Fashion

• Entrepreneurs Club

& the different sector clubs associated with Leather, Sport, Jewellery, Au Digital, etc.)
