An exceptional support fund for the students has been launched by the Foundation Institut Français de la Mode.

Because of the health crisis, related to the COVID 19 epidemic, a few students face severe financial issues due to a radical loss of income.

Indeed, some of them have lost their jobs that enabled them to finance their cost living or the equipement needed to study  under normal conditions.

The school has alerted The Foundation on this very worrying situation.This is why , the Executive Committee of the Foundation has decided to create an Exceptional Support Fund to help these students.

The main mission of the Foundation is to help the students in the financing their studies by offering them scholarships. However, in this unprecedented crisis situation, it appears necessary to be able to provide an exceptional financial support to some students to ensure them with decent living conditions.

As a reminder, thanks to the Foundation 38% of students benefited from a social scholarship at the beginningt of the 2020 academic year for a total amount of €746,225. 

Solidarity and mutual aid are more than ever necessary to support talented young people in their  studies.  Moreover, there is a good illustration of this through the initiative taken by the Alumni Community last September to set up an "Alumni Fund for Creation" in order to help the students in purchasing the essential equipment to achieve their projects.
