Dear alumni, 

At the time of the announcement of the resumption of the Tranoï trade show by GL Events, the reference shareholder of the Première Vision trade show, we are pleased to share with you the interview of Boris Provost carried out this summer for the Club Entrepreneurs IFM Alumni by Laure Tarneaud (IFM Management 2019). 

The Tranoï exhibition teams contacted us this summer to inform us of the opportunity for IFM Alumni members to integrate the new Tranoï Link platform. 

The Entrepreneurs Club to interviewed Boris Provost, Tranoï General Manager, to learn more about the project. It might be the perfect timing  to discuss all together  entrepreneurs of the IFM Alumni community on these new market places.

Tranoï, under the direction of Boris Provost, starts this fall its digital mutation thanks to a new offer called Tranoï Link. This platform allows the connection between buyers and brands whose positioning corresponds to the spirit of the Show. Boris Provost tells us the story of this new project, which may be an opportunity for members of the Club Entrepreneurs IFM Alumni.

A new business model adapted to a new modernity

"We thought Tranoi Link during the containment because we didn't know when we could organize our next physical event. We wanted to be able to offer our customers and our ecosystem a tool that would allow them to increase their audience with buyers and keep the link all year round. We built this site thinking of it as a B2B social network, it's very intuitive and aesthetically pleasing. We offer brands a real "customizable" internet portal, a real mini site on which they can organize their sales. Collection prices, manufacturing locations, delivery times...all these essential elements for a commercial approach are gathered.

We want to inscribe Tranoï in a new modernity. Tranoï is a thirty years old show. For young designers, for emerging brands, the DNVB, they can consider the Trade Show world as the old days. »

An accessible annual subscription 

"Tranoï Link works as an annual subscription. We don't want the site to be linked to a periodicity of sales, fashion weeks or other. It is an annual tool with a monthly subscription. It is up to the brand to create events on its space. For example, it makes a special wedding capsule or it needs to sell a stock of sleeve pieces and it makes a flash sale on these pieces. This allows for destocking, for example, while in a fair you  present the collection of the next Season. With Tranoï Link, brands can act as they want. 

For the "unlimited" version, our price offer corresponds to a budget of 290€ per month or 3 480€ per year. These users will have access to data to set up a powerful CRM. Customers who will have access to the free version will not have access to all these features. For those who in December would not want to upgrade to the premium version, we can keep them on the site in the catalog so that they remain visible. »

What is the link between Club Entrepreneurs and Tranoï Link? 

"We are on a positioning of premium brands, creators, selective distribution. We want brands with added value with storytelling, know-how and beautiful materials. Brands embodied by creators, creators with real approaches. 

Today the platform allows a connection between brands and buyers but we would like to go further. We would like to create intermediary pages for organizations that bring brands together. For example, for an agent who has six or seven brands in his portfolio corresponding to the positioning of Tranoï, we could imagine a page per brand but also a page for this showroom. So there would be a double entry on the site: either one entry per brand or one entry for this showroom.

We could imagine the same thing with the IFM Alumni: a page dedicated to the Entrepreneurs Club and a page by brand. We could think about it for a development at the beginning of 2021. »
